This wasn’t some childish impulse.

It was a rite of initiation.

Awkward, a bit absurd — but in the moment, dead serious.

A teenage attempt to make sense of the body, desire, the power of the image — through VHS, Madonna, and a bowl of milk.

It’s not about fetish.

It’s when a symbol on screen suddenly becomes a key —

and you, clueless, just stick it into yourself and turn it, hoping something unlocks.

That’s how a personal myth is born.

And, as it should, it ends with a cracked bowl and silence.

Reads like a lost Euphoria scene directed by Sofia Coppola—aching, electric, and unforgettable.

OMG, Vince! 😃 I always get such intense secondhand embarrassment, and this story is no exception. Honestly, ‘awkward’ doesn’t even begin to cover it! The things we do... 😁

But I loved the story, it really takes dedication to do something like that! 😃 You never talked to your mum about it? Not even dropped a hint to test the waters? After all these years, I’m sure it must make you both laugh when you think back. We all do things in our youth, it’s just part of growing up.
